04

05
Working toward the door methodically!

06
Working toward laying porcelin floor tile

07
Working on 2nd line

08
Wire mesh for stability and to hold radiant heat tubing in place

09
Wiping down any left over residual grout.

10
What a mess

11
Walls painted with a soft pastell light green - very warm and inviting.

12
Walls are all done, the floor is now prepped, lets lay stone flooring

13
Very nice if I don't say so myself!

14
Took a break to enjoy the evening

15
Took a break and installed a 70 inch ceiling fan in living room

16
Time to start insulation install

17
This entrance has to go!

18
The remnants of water damage

19
The new water heater

20
The floor is now level with the door jam. No more steping over the sill.

21
The boss checking my work

22
That's done finally, lets get some heat going, I'm freezing in February 2021

23
That's a lot of molding to prep!

24
Tearing out the old landing for a new step system

25
Taking out all the damage before the rebuild

26
Staging the first run

27
Spackling next up

28
So many spacers!

29
So before we lay the floor, let's get all the sheetrock and painting done on the new concrete floor first.

30
Setting up new manafold and radiant heat panel

31
See - I told you so!

32
Sanding done!

33
Sanding almost done

34
Running new power lines into main and sub panels

35
Removed old carpet and refinished the steps with a nice mahogny stain

36
Refinished support beam - much cleaner and olished look

37
Ran a line of radiant heat tube around the main plumbing on exterior wall to ensure not freezing of any pipes.

38
Raising the sliding glass doors to incorporate the rise in the new floor

39
Radiant tubing going in first of 3 lines

40
Put the molding on and some pictures and the room will be ready for entertaining soon.

41
Preping for mortar

42
Poured 1.5 inches of concrete to set up new flooring.

43
Out with the old water to replace with new tankless versioin

44
OK, not bad for first day of tiling!

45
Ok - good progress

46
Now for the laundry room but you get it by now.

47
Nothing like working in the snow and ice with electricity

48
Nice

49
Nice new foyer

50
Nice looking fan
